Her name is Los GATOews. It’s not the most popular name per our name the boat poll
For those of you who grew up in the sheltered Northeast like me, I’ll explain. “Los Gatos” is “the cats” in Spanish. We just merged it with our last name Toews (looks like TOES, really pronounced TAVES) and viola.
I’ll be putting together an entire article about the boat and systems, so stay tuned.

Hi gang! This looks great! I am very excited for you all. My wife and I are taking our first sailing lessons in June. I will be checking in often for updates on how you and your family are doing.

Dear Mike & Family, Glad to hear you finally have your boat on a rope. Before you know it you will get to cast off on your voyage. Mom keeps me posted on how things are progressing and how beautiful she is. BLESSINGS AND CALM WATERS. Love, Aunt Joanne

I love the photos even if you are certifiable. It is a beautiful boat. I always new that your and Deb were adventerous, but not to this extent. Just how close to land can you sail? Ha Ha. Enjoyed talking to Deb today and catching up on things. Boy did she have a lot of shockers to tell me.
Take care and let us hear from you. I am giving Kevin and Angela your web site so they can see the boat.

Mike,
What a life you’ve got. Excellent site (of what if seen yet).
Only started reading but cannot stop.
A comment on your CAT’s name. LOS GATOews can be seen in “slang” Afrikaans (South African “Dutch”) as “free people”. This is achieved by breaking the name into parts
Name =Afrikaans =English
LOS =LOS =Loose/free
GAT =GAT =backside
Oews =Ouens =guys/people
When I started reading I initially thought you were from South Africa to select a name like such to indicate you are a “free family”. I hope I can do the same as you in the near future.
SAFE TRAVELS,
HARRY
