Cool DebPeople who know Mike, know he is from Massachusetts and I am from Southern California and they always wonder how and where we met and then are shocked to hear we met in ITALY!?  Mike was in the Air Force and so was my Ralphie (Step Dad).  They both were stationed at Aviano Air Base, Italy.  I met Mike through a friend at a birthday party and then again at a shop picnic.  We went on our first date that same day and talked in his car, in front of my house, until 2 am.  That night I decided he was the one for me.  Three months later we were engaged, July 4th 1988.  Even after 20 years he still makes my heart race when he enters a room.  We have 3 beautiful, funny, feisty little girls: Marah, Cassidy, and Calen. They are my life and I am crazy about them.  

Although I am usually relunctant to change and moving (I’ve moved over thirty five times) I am excited about our future.  Who knew we’d be sailing away for an adventure of a lifetime.  After 18 years of marriage I see now that our life has always been an adventure and it ain’t over yet!

Favorite food:   My mother’s cooking, Mexican. Italian is a close second. I lived there from age 14 to the day before my 21st birthday.  I get homesick when I see a movie that was filmed in Italy.
